How can you activate a digital wallet?

Install a digital wallet app into your phone

Install one of the following apps into your phone: Garmin Connect, Zepp Pay, Mi Pay, Swatch Pay, Manage-Mii (Digiseq), Tappy wallet or Fidesmo.

Link your ProCredit Mastercard payment card

Once you’ve installed the application, you need to add the ProCredit Mastercard credit or debit card you wish to make payments with.
 

Verify your card, if necessary

Once you have fulfilled all of the activation requirements, your card will be activated.
In some cases, the bank may be required to provide further verification.  
 

 

Now you’re ready for to make contactless payments!

Congratulations!
You have successfully linked your card to your smart device and can now start making payments.
 

Answers to Frequently Asked Questions

Are payments made via a digital wallet secure?

Sensitive card data are not stored on either the phone used to activate the app, nor on the smart devices you use to make payments, nor are they sent to the merchant. For this reason, the risk of theft is minimal. 

Where can I use my digital wallet?

You can use your digital wallet at all points of sale where contactless payments are permitted. Simply tap your device on the POS terminal to make complete a transaction. 

Can I activate more than one payment card?

Yes. Digital wallets allow you to add more than one payment card – simply choose the card you wish to use in the app. You can activate both debit and credit payment cards. 

Is there a limit on my digital wallet?

The same limits (transaction amount and number of daily transactions permitted) apply to your digital wallet as the ones that apply to your ProCredit payment card(s). 
If you wish to adjust your existing card(s) limits, please contact our Online Centre.
 

Do I need to enter my PIN when making a payment?

Certain digital wallets (Mi Pay, Garmin Pay, Zepp Pay) require you to enter your PIN. This PIN is set by you when activating the device and must be entered each time a transaction is made. 
Swatch, Digiseq, Tappy and Fidesmo devices function under the same principal as contactless payment cards.

In other words, for smaller transactions, you are not required to enter your PIN, and for transactions exceeding the contactless limit, you are required to enter the PIN linked to the card you are using to complete the transaction. 
 

What happens if I lose my digital wallet?

In the event of the loss or theft of a smart device, you can cancel the use of the device via the app on your mobile phone. This will result in the cancellation of the card linked to the lost/stolen device. 
You can also cancel the same card by contacting our Online Centre.
